The Programme for Christian-Muslim Relations in Africa (PROCMURA) together with Garissa University commemorated the International Week of Peace in Garissa University on Wednesday, 25th September 2019. This year’s theme is “Preventing Radicalisation and Violent Extremism in learning institutions”.
Radicalisation and Violent Extremism (RVE) which implicates
PROCMURA and its partner, The Church of Scotland have evolved an exchange programme where Christians and Muslims from Scotland visit some of PROCMURA Area Committees to learn and exchange ideas and most importantly experience what the Area Committees do and what Christian-Muslim relations really are in the country that they visit. The first of such visit was in Kigali , Rwanda in September 2017 where Christian and Muslim youth had that exchange experience. The second is Ghana where Christian and Muslim leaders visited.
